Cooking Recipe Ingredients
4 mackerel, 1 onion, 1 carrot, 1 ½ tablespoons butter, 1 cup white wine, 2 cups water, 3/4 cups cider vinegar
Cooking recipe
preparation instructions
Prepare the mackerels to cook by removing the remaining bones and leave it aside. The next step is to prepare a nage or bouillon for poaching the mackerels. For preparing nage wash, peel and cut the carrots and onions. Now heat a pan and add some butter and melt it. After the butter is heated enough add the onions and carrots and sauté. After they are done add salt and wait for 2 to 3 minutes then add the white wine and let the whole mixture cook for a few minutes. Add one pint of water and cook further for 10-15 minutes. While it is cooking, place the mackerels in a plate suitable for oven and add butter, salt and pepper and place it in the oven. If the mackerel is too large it can be cut into smaller sections. Once the mackerel is cooked pour the Nage over it and bring it to a boil. After the nage begins to boil lightly, Cider vinegar is to be poured over it. Wait for it to get infused by cooking further for 2 to 3 minutes. The dish can be decorated with dill and served lukewarm. Serving the dish can be done as per taste.
