Recipe Description

This recipe has been prepared by mixing two different ingredients together : "darling duck" and "pimientos del piquillo". While most of you must be completely familiar about duck, the latter ingredient sounds new to ears. Duck has been termed as darling herein as it is the heart of duck which is not at all used for preparing this recipe. Duck is cooked only after taking out its heart. Pimientos Del piquillo is the second main ingredient which has arrived from Navarra. These are red colored small peppers which are charred over charcoal or wood or old vines and then peeled manly. After this it is marinated in olive oil along with some herbs and is finally consumed either alone or as part of salads or soups. These red peppers are available in tinned, jarred or in bottled form. Best fact about these peppers is that they do not have any additives or preservatives. Ordinary pimientos are also available in green color and are regularly baked, fried or roasted as well as stuffed with other flavorful ingredients. Cooking them with garlic and onion is the most flavorful form which can be obtained with this pepper. Try this recipe out and you surely you are going to love it!

Cooking Recipe Ingredients

4 ½ lbs. cool DARLINGS, 1 onion, 1 garlic clove, 2 carrots, 1 5/8 lbs. small lardoons, 1 tomato, bouquet garni, duck grease, salt, pepper, Sherry vinegar, 1 cup cream, olive oil, 1 or 2 pimientos del piquillo, parsley, 1 pt. POULTRY BOTTOM

Cooking recipe preparation instructions

Firstly, start preparing darlings along with some amount of grease of ducks. Now take fresh onions, garlic and carrots and chop them finely. Now mix all of them with grease of duck and melt them smoothly to prepare a paste without causing any kind of coloration. Once it is fully prepared, add beans of darlings by coating them with mild grease texture. In order to make your greasing perfect, just apply little quantity of water at bottom. Now sprinkle pepper and salt over it. Salt is important not only to add taste to it but to make sure that skin of darling duck gets hard. Now add cool tomato to it. Cook for 10 to 15minutes and add bouquet of cooked vegetables to it. Once the darling duck has been cooked well, take it away from flame and season it. For seasoning, prepare a mash of duck and potatoes and mix it well along with some amount of liquid cream. Add some of it as a seasoning to dish while keep remaining portion aside in order to prepare small brandade for pimientos del piquillo. Finally, crush some of the beans in cream in order to accompany it with prepared dessert. Your dish is now ready to be served hot. I love this recipe. I was curious of what darling is. As I read the recipe description and I found out that it's just some sort of duck. Anyway, the combined duck and pepper gave me an awesome tast.
